Creative Practic: Form & Medium

We choose a form...
Because it is a conduit for the energy and insight that is flowing through. As we move forward we will make something that has a beginning, middle and end. It might be a single object or a song that takes us on a journey.
The form we choose does not limit our ability to tell a whole story. Within that story, that journey, we will connect our dedication to at least one element in that lives within our creative piece.
Below is just one example of what I mean.
Imagine it is my thought process to get me to my form.
What we create may or may not explicitly draw from Pauli Murray's text. But we believe that this portal at least inspires the piece.

Imagine that this image represents something I sketched in my journal prompted by the questions posed in the portal.

Perhaps instead, I want to create a song that journeys in genre through what I understand to be my ancestral roots, pulling in words from Pauli Murray.
