In this phase of the filmmaking process we journey together with your film idea or draft of your script AND the intention to develop it into an excellent ancestral and community accountable Black Feminist script that can be made into a movie. An excellent script means it conveys not only the story but is deeply rooted and has all the necessary information that the entire cast and crew will need in order to do their jobs effectively.

We have material offerings and hands-on services to support those interested in just getting a basic introduction to development from a bf* perspective AND a deep dive for those interested in engaging the Black Feminist Film School methodology for filmmaking in longer and more in-depth ways.
